Japanese agency labels radioactive leak `serious`
Japan`s nuclear regulator on Wednesday upgraded the rating of a leak of radiation-contaminated water at its tsunami-wrecked nuclear plant to a "serious incident" on an international scale. The Nuclear Regulation Authority originally gave a Level 1 rating - an "anomaly," to the Aug. 19 leak of 300 tons (300,000 liters, 80,000 gallons) of water from a tank at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant. Last week it proposed raising that to Level 3 - a "serious incident" - and it made that change after consulting with the International Atomic Energy Agency. The ... | ||

Siemens Water Technologies LLC and ICS Healy-Ruff have signed an agreement for ICS Healy-Ruff to become the exclusive national distributor of Siemens Intra-Link™ Control Systems.products These products include the popular LC150 Pump Controller, the LC3000 and LC2000 controllers and related accessories. Under the agreement, ICS Healy-Ruff will be responsible for all sales of the prod-ucts, and provide system-level design, programming, fabrication and commissioning of systems sold that contain these products.
