PME Develops New Dissolved Oxygen and Temperature Logger

The miniDOT logger collects temperature and dissolved oxygen measurements and stores them to an internal 2GB SD card. The dissolved oxygen sensor is an optode that measures lifetime-based luminescence quenching of fluorescence of a thin membrane. The logger is self contained and able to function within a variety of liquid environments. The miniDOT can be programmed to make measurements at 1 minute intervals to 1 hour intervals. The enclosed battery provides power for many months. Dissolved oxygen has an accuracy of +/- 5% and temperature has an accuracy of +/- 0.1 degrees C.
