Active carbon is commonly used to remove H₂S from (bio)gas. Activated carbon works as an absorption process. GAZPACK has designed SULAFER®. This acts as a catalyst that effectively neutralizes toxic hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) into non-harmful iron, sulfur and water. Prior to replacing the container, thorough aeration is conducted to ensure complete elimination of any remaining H2S residue. The package SULAGO® The gas is entering one of the SULAFER® towers to transform the H2S. The treated gas enters a box cooler for drying the biogas at inlet of the package of the compressor. This package is fully automatic, a H₂S sniffer constantly checks the saturation point (1-3 ppmV H2S)
