The WTR Talon Rake is an excellent solution for debris management at water intakes. The Talon Rake operates on an overhead monorail and removes debris automatically from trash racks and transports debris to a designated location. The Rake can start fully automatically via differential, time clock, manual start or operated via a wireless remote. The Talon Rake handles all types of debris including weeds, grasses, logs, branches, leaves, etc. When started, the Talon Rake traverses to the first cleaning zone, strokes the trash rack and transports debris to the discharge location. The Rake then travels to the next cleaning zone and repeats the process until all zones have been cleared.
