Lumex Instruments offers solution for rapid analysis of total mercury in waste and process waters using direct pyrolysis technique - compliant with US EPA 7473 and ASTM D7622 methods. The analysis uses the mercury analyzer RA-915M with Zeeman background correction in combination with PYRO-915+ pyrolysis attachment, providing the direct determination of mercury in process and waste waters contaminated with mercury without digestion or any other sample preparation stages. As compared to other conventional techniques, the proposed method allows direct total mercury determination, rapid analysis (less than 2 min), no chemical reagents and low running cost.
