A cyclone dust collector extracts coarse debris, particles, and dust from an exhaust air stream. They are commonly used as the first stage in multiple stage dust collection systems, or as a product separator in air conveying systems. Centrifugal force applied to the air stream by the cone shaped design results in the separation of larger particulate, allowing gravity to deposit it into a dust storage container placed beneath the cyclone.
