Agri-Therm - Model II (100L) - Handheld Infrared Temperature Sensor
The low-temperature, Agri-Therm II measures temperatures from-40°C to 100°C with ±0.25°C Accuracy from 0°C to 50°C and±0.5°C Accuracy from-40°C toO°Cor50°C to 100°C. The Agri-Therm II features the SKY-SPY™ System which corrects errors caused by radiation to the sky (U.S. Patent No. 4,420,265). This feature triples the accuracy of outdoor temperature measurements.
This model has an optical configuration of robust aerospace-quality, double coated Zinc Selenide lenses per Military Specification MIL-C-13508. It measures in the spectral pass band of 8 < Wavelengths < 14 Microns. The field of view is variable from 4° to 20° with Vario-Zooom Field-Variable-Focus (U.S. atent No. 7,355,178). The response time of the instruments is less than 1 second. Emissivity is settable from 10% to 99% on rear panel.
Rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride batteries provide the power source. The instrument can be continuously used for 10 hours on a full battery charge. The standard output signal is analog millivolt (-400mV to 1000mV at 10.0mV/ºC).
The Agri-Therm II is used mainly for measurements in the natural environment and for research studies.
