IAQ Testing – Poor indoor air quality caused by hazardous substances or pollutants can lead to problems such as asthma and other health issues in the workplace, hospitals and schools. Many office buildings have significant air pollution sources. Some of these buildings may be inadequately ventilated; for example, mechanical ventilation systems may not be designed or operated to provide adequate amounts of outdoor air. Performance Environmental's qualified professionals provide air quality services including indoor air quality testing.
Air Permitting – Many air programs have permitting requirements that can be very confusing if not fully understood and viewed in context of the specific processes. Performance personnel have experience developing applications; negotiating permit conditions to reduce impact to facility operations. We also implement data systems to facilitate required compliance certifications and agency reporting for permits such as:
- Clean Air Act Title V Renewable Operating Permits
- Permits to Install for air emission units
- State and local permits
Greenhouse Gas Emission Inventory – Performance personnel have developed a program for quantifying emissions that have an impact on global warming from facility operations. Emissions were measured, calculated, estimated and derived from the processes using good engineering practices and sound inventory protocols. GHG inventories can be used for EPA Climate Leaders Program or other sustainability systems.
