AS-PULZ - Pulse Discharger
From Wastewater Treatment Plants for Cities and Towns - Root Zone Wastewater Treatment Plants
The pulse discharger is patented equipment to be used mainly for root zone wastewater treatment plants, ground filters, and other facilities requiring quick filling up or, on the contrary, intensive draining. This equipment will find its use namely in trickling filters and in pulse draining of horizontal root zone plants. The equipment will function without any demand for power supply or any operator interventions or any other source of energy – water is discharged after the maximally defined water level in the shaft is achieved. The pulse discharger is manufactured either as standalone equipment or in a combination with selected shafts from the ASIO product line in two options: for easy foundation conditions, and for complicated cases involving a higher level of underground water.
Discharge device advantages:
- increased efficiency of horizontal root-zone systems by up to 50% (COD, NH4-N),
- for vertical root zone systems, it is the only available functioning equipment in the Czech Republic,
- zero operating costs (no connection to power supply is required),
- easy installation and adjustment (to both concrete and plastic shafts, either new or existing),
- minimum costs of running the device,
- easy fixing, easy adjustment,
- low price.
Installation possibilities upstream vertical root zone systems:
- pulse discharger (“PV”) with DN80 to DN150 piping as standalone equipment for discharging for installations to existing or new shafts made of concrete or plastic materials, according to the customer’s specifications,
- pulse discharger in an open shaft for installations in shallow depths and slight ground undulations. A part of the supply is a shaft plus the installed and adjusted discharger,
- pulse discharger in a self-supporting cylindrical shaft; this option is intended for deep excavations and significantly rough ground. A part of the supply is a self-supporting and robust shaft plus the installed and adjusted discharger,
- installations upstream vertical trickling root zone systems,
- installations downstream conventional “horizontal” root zone systems on their discharge piping.
Installation possibilities for root zone systems:
- upstream vertical trickling root zone systems,
- downstream conventional “horizontal” root zone systems on their discharge piping,
- installations downstream newly built root zone systems based on prevailing horizontal flowing.
