The AcuScanl200 embedded software features Spectra Overlaying, Subtracting Blanks , Deleting Spectra, Averaging spectra, External Input/Output control, Saving/ Opening Spectra, auto scaling of viewed sensor data, spectral matching, library creation, and system calibration .
AcuScanl200 does not require sample preparation and needs only very small amount of sample. It is a fast, highly selective, and nondestructive sample identification and validation device. The PIC/S GMP guidelines require Acceptance Testing on all raw materials. The US Pharmacopoeia (USP) and European Pharmacopoeia (EP) prescribe Raman Spectroscopy for the identification of received raw materials. Furthermore it obtains also semi-quantitative data of the active ingredients in a pharmaceutical mixture using proprietary spectra-analysis techniques.
