Model 1500 suspended solids analyzer is a unique system that combines advanced electronics with a solid-state optical sensor. No other suspended solids system can compare with the features and benefits this revolutionary design. The Model 15 sensor utilizes optical principals based on the near infrare(880nm) range. The Model 15 sensor is designed to measure the solids concentrations in biological reactors, open RAS or WAS channels, and clarifier influent channels.

  • LCD Display: 2 Alphanumeric Lines of at least 16 characters each; Readable from 0 to 70 degrees C (display temperature); Contrast adjustable through keypad; LED Backlighting; Tactile feel keypad; For Model 15 Sensor, displays TSS over the range of 0 to 30,000 mg/l. Displayed resolution will be 3 active digits, but no decimal places
  • Relays: 4 relays total (2 SPDT form C and 2 Normally Open); All contacts 250VAC 6 Amps resistive load; Both form C, and 1 Normally open relay to be prgrammable TSS setpoints with user selectable hysteresis; 1 of the normally open relays programmable for jet wash operation
  • Analog output: 4-20mA outputs; Inherently isolated active outputs 600 Ohms; 1 channel indicates TSS over programmable range; 1 channel unused; 4 and 20mA electrical values adjustable through key pad over 2mA range
