Biaxial Geogrid
From Geogrid
Biaxial geogrids are square or rectangular polymer meshes being stretched. They’re divided into two two categories including uniaxial geogrid and biaxial geogrid according to different stretching directions. The products are punched on the polymer sheets ( the raw materials are PP or HDPE ) being extruded, and then stretched directionally under heating condition. Uniaxial geogrids are stretched only along the length direction of sheets, but biaxial geogrids are stretched towards the opposite direction based on the uniaxial geogrids.

- Enhance the foundation to distribute and diffuse loads effectively, improve steady and bearing capacity of foundation, extend the lifespan;
- The roads could bear bigger traffic loads;
- It could prevent the deformation and cracking of foundation because of foundation material losses;
- It could improve the filling and bearing capacity of retaining walls, reduce the pressure of retaining walls, save costs, extend lifespan and reduce maintenance costs;
- The workers could apply the geogrids to maintain slopes according to the construction methods of ejector anchor and concrete. This could save 30%-50% investments, and could shorten the construction time for at leat one time;
- Applying geogrids between the foundation and soil layers of roads could reduce deflection and tracks, postpone cracking for 3-9 times and reduce the structure layer thickness for 36%;
- It’s suitable for all kinds of soil, and you don’t need to seek materials laboriously. It’s time-saving and work-saving;
- The construction is easy and convenient, and and the construction cost could be reduced greatly.
