Promeco’s BIOEXTRUDER is the simple, easier and efficiency solution for the organic fraction treatment.The technology comes from  Promeco Extruder System machine used for a  lots of years in the plastic and waste treatment sector.

Working system

The BIOEXTRUDER© is a short double screws extruder, that grind the input material thanks the double effect of friction and pressure  that generate an important temperature increasing of the material into the extruder chamber.

The input material, after a properly pre-treatment, are charge into the feeding hopper of the BIOEXTRUDER©.

The feeding bunker have two feeding screws that move the incoming material into a vibro-channel that dose the material in the extruder chamber where there is a termo-mecchanichal process for the incoming material thank the heating rise-up generated from the friction between screws, extruder chamber and the material too. The high temperature guarantee a partial moisture out coming from the material.

The main motor generally oversized to have the best result also in case of hard material. Normally in the almost situation the power consumption is not over 60% of the installed one.

According the level sensor installed o the feeling hopper, is possible to handle the incoming material come from the conveyor belt for machine charging. A further screw or conveyor belt in installed after the die to download the output material.

The BIOEXTRUDER© body structure is made for heavy duty work and operations. The properly design projected from Promeco’s engineers guaranty that all torques are complete download on the structure of the machine, installed on a properly resistance floor or iron plates dedicated. The speed of the main motor can be handle to change the rpm of the BIOEXTRUDER to obtain different characteristics and quality of the out coming product.

System flexibility

Normally the waste have different size, water content, density and composition variable so BIOEXTRDER© system has been projected to handle in the best way this difference can be into the material need to be treat in automatic mode.
The control system, based on the PLC logic, continuously check the most important parameters as the current and temperature on the plate of the machine and then arrange automatically the working process.

Incoming material

Organic waste

Produtcs

Organic substance for anaerobic digester

The out coming product from the BIOEXTRUDER i san organic material grinded and ready to be eat and attack too from the anaerobic bacteria, in the anaerobic process. For an higher efficiency we recommend to install a PROMECO Organic Separator to remove the residual inert.

Compost

The output of the Extruder is no ripened compost, but a mixture with characteristics of high reactivity compared to the raw material, and this is mostly due to:

  • Increased porosity with higher oxygenation capacity.
  • Significant increase of the specific surface available for the aerobic bacteria.
  • Structural optimisation of the composting material.
  • Reduced moisture content.

Peat substitute

Lignocelluloses grinded material with high density, specific weight from 140 to 200 kg/m³, chemical and physical parameters similar to those of the peat and analogous utilisation in agriculture, floriculture and topsoil segment.

Treatment capacity

Compost and organic fraction for anaerobic digestion

Treatment capacity depending on the mixture composition and on the structure and final size of the product required: it varies between 25 and 40 m³/h.

Peat mass substitute

According to the requirements of the product and to the characteristics of the lignocelluloses waste, it varies between 20 and 40 m³/h.
