SAJA - Model TURBOLINE - Channel Brushes
Our top quality SAJA® channel brush selection provides the right option for any situation. Whether you are cleaning sand, rubbish, weeds, wet leaves or icy mud, our range offers the best possible brush solution for your sweeping machine.TURBOLINE is a channel brush. It consists of an installation plate and exchangeable tufts. It offers you everything you need in a channel brush. Never have sweeping been so efficient and changing the brush so comfortable! To set the highest standard, best material for bristles is used: FINALON™ polypropylene filaments for outstanding lifetime.
When using conventional brushes, the plate has to be thrown away when the brush is worn off. In TURBOLINE® system the plate stays permanently in the sweeper, so you don't have to pay for a plate every time you change a brush! Plastic plate can be used many times, steel plate is practically everlasting! TURBOLINE® plate earns itself back many times!
With which conventional channel brush can you adjust the sweeping performance yourself? With TURBOLINE® you can! We use different colors to identify the filament thicknesses in the TURBOLINE® tufts. Red tuft has 2,8mm filaments, yellow 3,2mm, etc.. Flat wire is an option, too. Because the size of the tufts are the same, you may mix the tufts to one plate to gain the desired performance and effectivity! If you have 6 different tuft alternatives and 12-24 tufts per plate (depending on the plate size) you have 72-144 different possibilities!
Conventional channel brushes have disadvantage of having limited amount of filaments you can include. Filaments are also in rows, even if the job could be done with the most outer circle of the brush. In TURBOLINE® system the bundled filaments are actually in the furthest circle. Best flicking action is gained when only the tips of the bristles are lightly touching the surface. In TURBOLINE® tufts the filaments also support each other. It results that the brush pressure can be minimized which increases radically the lifetime of the brush.
Conventional channel brushes are heavy, especially when there are flat wire involved. Also in plastic the dimension of the brush is big and therefore installing is difficult and even dangerous for hands and back. The TURBOLINE® plate stays permanently on the sweeper and you just change the tufts by loosing the bolts. This is as easy as it gets!
How many cubic meters does it take to transport or store 20 conventional channel brushes? 3m³? Same amount of TURBOLINE® brushes take 0,5 m³! Or in other words in 3m³ you can transport and store 120 TURBOLINE® brushes!
To replace a worn-out channel brush the driver needs to return to the garage. Imagine how much time you will spare when the driver has an extra set of TURBOLINE® tufts in the seat next to him and it takes 10 minutes to change the brush abroad? Now multiply the saved time with the hourly rate of your choise.
Where does used brushes belong? Conventional channel brushes are a mixture of plywood, plastic and steel. With a good will you could separate the parts and dispose them properly, but you end up throwing them to the landfill?
TURBOLINE® makes it easy. Full plastic TURBOLINE® tufts and plates can and may be disposed amongst community waste. When incinerating community waste to heat energy, Polypropylene burns clean without causing toxic gases. If Polypropylene would end up to a landfill, it will slowly biodegrade from the effect of sun beams. Metal TURBOLINE® tufts and plates can be recycled among other metals.
Communities and municipalities can also collect the used TURBOLINE® tufts and plates for a recycling, as Polypropylene can be re-granulated and used as a recycled raw material.
