The DRB 200 is supplied with either one or two heating blocks. The heating blocks can heat solutions in round vials of two different sizes at 37-165 °C for a period of 0-480 minutes. The small, 13 mm diameter vial wells in the heating block are suitable for Hach TNTplusTM tests. The larger, 20 mm diameter vial wells are intended for sample preparation reaction vessels, using the Metals Prep Set. The DRB 200 has 6 stored and 3 programmable temperature programs.
There is one single heating block version of the DRB200 for TNTplus vials. It has nine 13 mm vial wells and two 20 mm vial wells. This model is suitable for all TNTplus tests that require digestion, including COD.
In addition to the single heating block version of the DRB200 there are three dual heating block versions. The three dual heater block models are available in various configurations, to accomodate 13 mm diameter TNTplus vials, and 20 mm diameter Metals Prep Set vials.

Hach TNTplus Vial Chemistries for COD (EPA Method 410.4), Free and Total Chlorine (SM 4500-Cl G), Chromium VI (SM 3500-Cr B, D), Iron (3500-Fe B, D), Ortho- (EPA 365.1) and Total Phosphate (EPA 365.1, 365.3), Ammonia (EPA 350.1), and Nitrite (SM 4500-NO2 B) are equivalent to the respective method referenced in parentheses under 40 CFR 136.6 for compliance monitoring.
