From DynaSand Filter
In recent years the demand for low energy solutions has encouraged the design of new technology for water and waste water treatment. The newly developed DynaAir unit supplies compressed air to DynaSand plants with much lower operational costs than earlier compressor systems.
The major part of the energy consumption in operating the DynaSand filters comes from the compressors that provide the air-lift pumps with air. Previously the air-lift pumps were supplied with air by compressors working at pressures above 5 bars. The newly developed DynaAir system is based on a much lower pressure, below 2 bars. This pressure is sufficient to operate the air-lift pumps with high reliability. The low pressure within the system makes the equipment simple and very reliable, but the main advantage is the low cost for compressed air.

The complete unit is installed within a sound attenuated enclousure with internal PLC (control unit) and a display.
The DynaAir system is available in five different sizes and can be offered for installations with 4 to 60 filters. For larger DynaSand plants multiple DynaAir units can bil installed and customized accordingly.
