In the 1970's, flow instrumentation technology and products were in their infancy. The instruments available were cumbersome and difficult to operate, often creating more problems than they solved. As demands for more accurate and reliable instrumentation increased, a company responded by introducing a durable, user-friendly, portable flow monitor. This instrument, known as the Marsh-McBirney Flo-Tote has become one of the most widely used and specified flowmeters today. Over 2 decades later, the Flo-Tote continues to soldier along with many features and enhancements added during this time.
