The medium-sized RS series shines especially in difficult applications. Thanks to the modular design and the various cutting unit configurations these 4-shaft shredders are particularly flexible in their use. Moreover, it is possible to adjust speed, torque, sealings, cutting unit openings and perforated screens exactly to your requirements. This ensures highest flexibility with maximum reliability.

In contrast to high-speed systems, these shredders are particularly resistant to foreign objects. If a cutting disc detects a foreign object, the machine stops immediately. This prevents damage to the cutting unit. In addition, the drive permits frequent reversing, which is particularly beneficial when shredding problematic materials. The integrated perforated screen quick replacement system that comes standard permits the quick and efficient replacement of the perforated screen.

After the material to be shredded has been drawn into the main cutters (1), it is both pre-shredded and re-shredded in a single pass. Material that does not fall through the screen (2) is transferred to the secondary cutters (3) and moved back up and fed back into the cutting chamber for re-shredding. The screen determines the size of the final fraction.
