Gealog Short Distance Radio Interface

Wireless extension of the 'Gealog RS485-Fieldbus' for distances up to 600 m. Coupling of sensors and datalogger via radio. Operates in a free frequency band. At the sensor station a separated power supply has to be installed.

  • The Gealog Short Distance Radio Interface is let ´s say a 'Gealog RS485-Fieldbus' without cables. It
  • can be used to connect a remote sensor station to the datalogger where a fieldbus cable is not
  • possible or too expensive. The maximum distance for the radio transmission is app. 600 m.

  • The module is operating in a free frequency band
  • Synthesizer technology
  • Data transmission up to 600 m

  • Gealog RS485-Fieldbus to datalogger or to sensors
  • 2 Pieces 'Gealog Short Distance Radio Interfaces' are necessary to have the complete data
  • transfer equipment. One piece at the datalogger´s side and one piece at the sensors side.

Power supply

  • Power supply: 12V DC (9 to 16 V DC), normally power supply of measuring station or remote station
  • 90 mA when transmitting
  • 34 mA in receiving mode
  • For remote stations a separate power supply is necessary i.g. solar power supply
