From Waste Types
PEL bottle crushers reduce glass volume by 80%. The glass is crushed to the size of a cullet >8mm. This glass can be recycled and reprocessed back into bottles. The cullet produced by PEL bottle crushers has been approved to be suitable to be reprocessed back into bottles. Reducing glass volume reduces waste costs, saves space and decreases the amount of time staff spend sorting bottles.
The bottle crusher range spans the BB01 under-the-counter machine to the BB06 ‘Mega Jaws’ product which can crush up to 4000 bottles per hour to the stand-alone BB09 glass bottle crusher.
The 'Baby Jaws' machine is the only under counter bottle crusher of its kind on the market and crushes the waste glass bottles as they are poured by the bar staff or as the empty bottles are returned from the floor.

The BB03 is a low height version of the BB04 machine - it will crush up to 3000 bottles per hour and reduce waste glass volume by 80%. It is ideally suited to areas where the ceiling height is restricted i.e. low height and the machine comes with an attached filtration unit which again emphasizes its suitability for use in confined spaces or those with restricted ventilation.
Both the PEL BB04 and BB06 glass bottle crusher's will reduce the volume of your waste glass bottles by a factor of 5:1 or up to 80% with the broken glass (cullet) capable of being reprocessed back into bottles. Specifically the built-in filtration unit on the BB06 makes it suitable for confined areas or areas where there is limited air circulation available. Both machines have a capacity to crush up to 4000 bottles per hour with the waste glass going into an easy-to-handle 140L bin which will hold approximately 680 crushed bottles.
The BB09 product is the latest addition to the glass bottle crusher range. It is a stand-alone machine; the waste bottles are fed individually and the waste glass is held in a 140 Litre bin which can hold up to 680 bottles equivalent of crushed glass.
