Description
A revolutionary tool
Unique jaw design enables the excavator operator to grab the kerbs directly from the pack, with no damage to the kerb surface, and to place them to a line, onto the kerb race without manual assistance. Designed to handle a wide range of kerb types. Operators has figured out a cut of – 60 % in handwork. This figure indicates that the pay-off period of the grapple is extremely short.
The grip width-wise
The genial and revolutionary thought is to grab the kerb stone grabs width-wise, and not length-wise. By this simple idea the KSG is a real one tool job, as it can put the kerbs one next the other, without any clearance. So it is not necessary to have a operator to align the kerbs by hand anymore. Both arms of the grapple have specifically designed plastic pads, shaped to prevent any scratch on the kerb stones. This is also a good point when the issue is saving money and working quickly. Rotation can be both manual (with handle-bar) and hydraulic.
Different rotator options
The attachments for crane and excavator can be equipped with a rotation device, either mechanical (free, 250° rotation) or hydraulic (hydraulic motor with continuous rotation). Depending on the type of equipment, the rotator may be incorporated in the main frame of the equipment or mounted on the top of it. Idrobenne offers a wide range of high quality hydraulic rotators.

High quality components.
All products are built using high-tensile Swedish steel for the structural parts and use wear plates (Hardox) for parts in contact with the handled materials, such as the blades of the buckets, the tines and the tips. The large diameter pins are made of special steel, hardened under heat treatment. The bushes are provided of an internal spiral for the distribution of grease. The entire production cycle is certified according to ISO 9001 standards.
Custom links.
Kerb stone grabs, clamshell buckets, log grapples and similar attachments must be mounted on operating machines through a cardan link. This part allows free swinging in the four horizontal directions (so-called pendulum mounting). Idrobenne can manufacture and supply custom-made links for any operating machine such as truck cranes, excavators, material handlers and earth moving equipment.
