TAPC History
Total Air Pollution Control Pty Ltd (TAPC) is an Australian owned and managed company that was formed in 2001 to be the Australasian representative for BHA Group Inc (now GE Energy). TAPC has since established itself as one of the region’s leading industrial air pollution control companies, particularly in the field of particulate capture using electrostatic precipitators and fabric filters.
In 2007, Environmental Group Operations Pty Ltd acquired TAPC to supplement its already substantial air pollution control business. It represented a substantial investment into air pollution control capabilities for EGL, which was established in 1968 as Ceilcote then renamed Horizon APC.
In 2012, the two business units were merged into one entity: Total Air Pollution Control (TAPC), forming Australia’s largest and most comprehensive air pollution control company. The combined range of technology, experience and capabilities has ensured TAPC’s leadership in air pollutant control.
