LiChrosolv solvents - high-perfomance solvents for HPLC and LC-MS
For analytical HPLC, Merck Millipore provides LiChrosolv® solvents in 'isocratic grade' and 'gradient grade'. Gradient grade LiChrosolv® solvents enable you to minimize the gradient effect of the solvent involved (for example in enantiomeric separations on chiral phases) and are suitable for UPLC and UHPLC: Minimal baseline noise, Low level of ionic background, reduced metal adduct formation, Optimized packaging material, Adapters for direct instrument connection available LiChrosolv® hypergrade for LC-MS and trace analysis Merck Millipore solvents labelled “hypergrade for LC-MS LiChrosolv®” are dedicated to the use with MS systems and for analysis in the low ppb trace range. Very high UV-transmittance, Excellent baseline stability in gradient elution, Very low total ionic current (TIC). Thanks to low level of ionic background and ion suppression, LiChrosolv® hypergrade ensures high ionization efficiency in all ionization methods (ESI/API + and - mode).
Using LiChrosolv solvents, you benefit from high resolution and sensitivity as well as optimized peak baseline separation. They feature high degrees of UV transmittance, low particle counts, low acidity and alkalinity, and low evaporation residue levels making them ideal for reproducible separations. All our LiChrosolv solvents are microfiltered at 0.2 µm for your convenience.
For analytical HPLC, we provide LiChrosolv solvents in ‘isocratic grade’ and ‘gradient grade’. Gradient grade LiChrosolv solvents enable you to minimize the gradient effect of the solvent involved – for example in enantiomeric separations on chiral phases – and are suitable for UPLC and UHPLC.
For fast chromatography and LC-MS detection, Merck Millipore offers LiChrosolv hypergrade, a family of solvents especially optimized and tested for LC-MS suitability. LiChrosolv hypergrade solvents meet all the requirements of modern LC-MS ionization methods (ESI/ APCI – positive and negative mode). Due to their low level of ionic background and low ion suppression, LiChrosolv hypergrade solvents ensure high reproducibility and high ionization efficiency.
