Lumex Instruments - Sorbent Traps
From Mercury Analyzers - Mercury Monitoring Toolkit
Sorbent trapsprovide total mercury measurement as well as speciated mercury measurement (oxidized and elemental mercury phases). The flue gas sample is collected using a heated sample probe and calibrated pumping system. Mercury is captured by adsorption in sorbent traps media. The material in these traps is later analyzed using Zeeman mercury analyzer RA-915M and PYRO-915+ attachment. Traps are specifically designed to comply with the US EPA Method 30B and PS-12B Performance specification.
