Model 6321 - Horizontal Reinforced Primary Decanters
The installation of the tank must comply with our installation document P050.
The device will be buried outside a building.
It is highly recommended to bury the device in a zone protected from vehicles passing.
The cover will be level with the finished ground.
The bottom of the hole must be perfectly flat and covered with 20 cm gravel 4/6 minimum. The backfill must be made using gravel 4/6, never stone.
Re-fill the device with clean water up and carry out lateral backfill at the same time.
If vehicles will pass over the area or if the water inlet level = 500mm or more relative to ground level, a concrete slab must be poured resting on stable ground. This concrete slab must be poured taking into account the level of the 1st extension shaft and will withstand the strains imposed.
The manhole cover of the device must remain accessible.
Vent pipes Ø 100 must be connected to evacuate gas higher possible and must be capped by a device preventing insects and small animals from penetrating.
A connexion must be connected for sludge recirculation coming from the OXYMOP.
VERY IMPORTANT : The data sheet P050 only applies for horizontal and/or stabilized surfaces and installation on damp ground or hydromorphous soils. For all other cases, please contact our research department and you will have to fill in the questionnaire Q208.
The « floatings » must be frequently removed from the manhole(s). The device must be drained twice a year : sludge in the bottom of the device must be removed thanks to the symmetric connection.
In order to clean easier the digester, a ladder can be installed thanks to an access door situated in the clarification compartment.
Upstream from the tank, the grit chamber must be cleaned frequently and the objects stopped by the grating be removed. These waste are collected with the household waste. Clean the grating with a water jet if necessary.
TECHNICAL DEFINITION -
Upstream from an OXYMOP, the primary decanter is a pre treatment device designed for the collect, the sedimentation and the storage of the suspended solids in domestic wastewater (soils water and household waste water).
It is composed by two different compartments :
A lengthwise clarification compartment enables the gravitational sedimentation of the suspended solids. The decanted suspended solids enter the inferior compartment thanks to some holes located in the decanter basis.
Access to a digester compartment where sludge collected are stored . The digestion of these sludge is realized in this non aerated zone.
