Model MIT - Tertiary Reversible Impact Crusher
From Crushing Machines - Mills
Crushers, mod. MIT, are suitable for the crushing of various types of minerals, especially for the production of first class sand and granulates. The high speed of the rotor and the arrangement of two mobile impact armours, one on each side, enables that the crushing occurs almost exclusively by impact on the whole active surface of the hammer, thus reducing wear expenses and power absorption. The central, vertical feeding and rotor rotation in both directions ensure an almost uniform size of the output, ensuring a uniform wear of the hammer impact faces, allowing furthermore using them fully and reducing the reversal operation of the hammers. The two mobile adjustable impact armours also ensure a constant grain-size curve in output.

The casing in accurately welded steel plate is symmetrical and can be opened to facilitate normal control and maintenance operations. The internal armour is composed of interchangeable square wear plates, fixed to the casing by tapered bolts for full use. The impact bars fitted on the mobile walls and at the bottom as protection onto the fixed walls of the casing are interchangeable and constructed, like the hammers, in a special wear-resistant steel alloy. The rotor, mounted on a treated steel shaft and rotating on oversized self-aligning roller bearings, forms an integral part with the hammers thanks to their particular locking system, which guarantees a constant and continuous pressure on the surface of above-mentioned hammers. All the adjustment and opening operations of the machine are carried out by a simple and practical hydraulic system.
