The SIR 4000 is GSSI’s first high-performance GPR data acquisition system designed to operate with analog and digital antennas. This evolutionary step allows true versatility and flexibility by supporting a wide range of users, beginner to advanced, in numerous applications. The SIR 4000 incorporates advanced display modes and filtering capabilities for ‘in-the-field’ processing and imaging. Fully integrated, the system provides a simple user interface, plug-and-play GPS integration, and WiFi enabled data transfer capabilities. Ideal for multiple applications; utility designation, concrete inspection, mining and geology, environmental assessment, archaeology and forensics.

The SIR® 4000 comes with a new user interface offering a better user experience. The startup screen is a very simple interface to navigate, where users launch application specific modules, last used settings, start new projects, or playback data from previous projects. In addition, one can configure the SIR 4000 to personalized settings including language, units, and colour themes. Using the knob or soft key features, users can select various menu options easily and efficiently.
The SIR 4000 incorporates many new features, including new display modes and filtering capabilities for in-the-field processing and imaging. Users have the ability to change display gain and filters in real-time while collecting data. Additionally, users can change the scale, add reference marks, and personalize the colour display. Filters include hyperbola matching for data migration, surface position tracking, signal floor tracking and adaptive background removal.
The redesigned Quick 3D mode offers the capability to collect and create stunning 3D data files. Quick 3D displays data as fully rotational three dimensional cube in real-time, allowing for powerful in-field data interpretation.
