NSPI - Model N9001-RTD - Thermowell Mounted
From Temperature Sensors
Ultra Electronics, Nuclear Sensors & Process Instrumentation’s (NSPI) Model N9001 RTD, mounted in a thermowell, is designed and tested for use in the primary coolant loop of PWR (Pressurized Water Reactor) type nuclear power generation facilities. The sensor is available in a two sensor configuration which allows for accurate post accident monitoring and on line temperature control. The low calibration drift of this sensor allows for extended recalibration intervals which reduces the maintenance costs.
RTDs are supplied in accordance with NSPI’s Quality Assurance Program which is ISO 9001 Registered. The program is also in compliance with 10CFR50 Appendix B, ANSI N45.2 & ASME NQA1.
Application assistance is available for special applications and design requirements. Assistance includes physical configuration requirements such as leadwire length, quick disconnects and other physical details. Actual installation details can affect measurement accuracy and response time. Such things as RTD fit into the thermowell, thermowell design and RTD assembly spring compression may cause variations in accuracy and response times.
