Modular Skid Design
The equipment in our plant design is strategically placed on SS skids, accompanied by core piping, instrumentation, and cabling. None of the equipment is attached to walls or floors, and can be accessed from all sides. This design ensures protection against corrosion, simplified maintenance, and extended operational years.
- 360° Accessible: LX modular skids allows 360º accessibility to equipments and instruments which brings quicker control and easy maintenance.
- Stainless Steel Skids: Modular skids are made of SS 304 as standard or SS316 optionally for longest life-time.
- Not on Wall, Only on Skid: You can’t see a water softener, dosing pump or any other equipment fixed directly on a wall in LX plant design. Each of them is located on a skid.
- Not on Floor, Only on Skid: Modular skid design prevents all equipments from floods and any kind of corrosion effects comes from floor.

Cross-Operation Never Stops!
The cross-operation process guarantees the target plant capacity and the run-time is maximized by strategically designing the capacities of all sub-units and integrating them through cross-functional logic, a feat that cannot be achieved through traditional train process design.
- Target Capacity is Guaranteed: Capacity of every Duty and Standby sub-unit is separately enough to support the duty electrolyzer’s capacity, hence guarantees the target production in any combination of failure in whole plant.
- Everything Designed to Support Cross Logic: Piping, valves, instruments and automations are all designed for working with each other in Cross logic. So there is always a pathway to support the duty electrolyzer=target capacity.
- Train Logic is not a must: In train logic process design, any equipment failure will cause loosing that production line capacity completely. So decreases the percentage of runtime. On the other, Cross operation continues working.

Integrated and Safe Cell Cleaning System
Hardness impurities such as Calcium and Magnesium comes from salt and water inevitably accumulates on cell surfaces as a result of electrolysis within a period of time. Periodic maintenance with diluted acid to remove this deposits is inevitable for all on-site electrochlorinators sooner or later to protect the service life go the plant.
- Integrated But Not Mobil: HypoX® LX Series offers integrated cell acid cleaning rather than mobile acid cleaning trolley, which means acid circulating pump with all piping, fittings and instruments are installed on each electrolyzer unit separately.
- Integrated is Safer than Mobile: Preparing the 5% acid solution in a trolley and carry it on wheels with full of acid is not safe for operators. On the other side, all close and non-mobile Integrated acid cleaning makes it the safest in industry, and brings unmatched comfort.
- Automatic Acid % Preparation: 5% diluted HCl acid is enough to make cleaning maintenance in ElectroChlorinations systems, however how and where to prepare it can be unsafe or challenging and may be non-precise. Integrated acid cleaning makes this preparation all close and automated.

Hydrogen (H2) is the inevitable by-product of brine electrolysis, which immediately diluted & discharged to atmosphere in the process. Even this is a small amount of H2, see how seriously Kemisan designs this process. Kemisan proofs the safety of this Hydrogen handling(dilute&discharge) with “Explosion Protection Document”(EPD) and attached Zone Map which are prepared according to well-trusted IECEx certification & IEC 60079 standards. These documents allows us why, where and which ATEX certificated equipments we need to choose&use.

Explosion Proof Document (EPD) is a detailed engineering report and set of guidelines for environments and processes that may have any explosive materials handled or where processes might create potentially explosive atmospheres. EPD calculates and shows any risks about H2 handling and gives various level of requirements to eliminate these risk where and if available.
