The VDD series dilution system is especially used for diluting highly concentrated liquid drops. With the VDD series, the input dilution air is controlled using a mass flow controller. This mass flow controller is integrated in an external control unit and is infinitely variable. By using a mass flow controller in combination with suction from a downstream measuring device, e.g. welas digital or Promo, the dilution factor of the VDD series is infinitely variable from 0 - 10.

With the use of the VDD dilution step, the aerosol loss and droplet size reduction is minimized. By using the mass flow controller the dilution factor is infinitely and precisely controllable.

  • The dilution systems from Palas are characterized unambiguously. This is documented with a calibration certificate for each individual device.
  • The dilution steps deliver a temporally constant, representative dilution with the factors 10 and 100.
  • The dilution systems can be cascaded with the factors 100, 1,000, 10,000 and 100,000.
  • Low compressed air consumption, e.g. just 128 l/min with a dilution factor of 10,000 with four VKL 10 systems
