FEDI (fractional electrodeionization) stacks, that have superior hardness tolerance compared to the other electrodeionization products on the market, and a dual voltage process allows for a higher flexibility and tolerance to inlet water conditions, thus lowering the risk of scaling, and improving the plant's design economics and reliability. FEDI stacks are available in three different models which can be applied either for higher hardness tolerance or high water flow rates.
FEDI Rx features hot water sanitization ability at temperature 80 - 85°C. These stacks have the ability to produce high purity water up to 16 MOhms.cm using a patented process with double sets of electrodes per stack. FEDI Rx stacks are available in 4 sizes (5X, 10X, 20X & 30X) and have applications in pharmaceutical, biomedical and laboratory applications where installations require hot water sanitization to meet pharmacopoeia standards for Purified Water (PW) and Water For Injection (WFI).
MEGA FEDI is ideal for large capacity, high flow systems normally required in heavy industrial projects such as power, petrochemicals, refinery and electronics for high purity water needs.
Q-SEP Ultrafiltration (UF) membranes with a patented cloud point precipitation process, incorporates high-strength, hollow fibers with uniform pore size distribution and delivers superior performance. The Q-SEP ultrafiltration membranes are made from a hydrophilic polyether sulfone (PES) material with excellent low fouling characteristics.
EnviQ submerged ultrafiltration membranes for wastewater treatment and recycle applications have been developed to improve the ease of O&M of MBR facilities. EnviQ’s unique features such as reverse diffusion and specially designed air diffusers maximize scrubbing efficiency, resulting in lower pressure drop and reduced cleaning.
CeraQ ceramic membranes modules offer superior performance in challenging oil removal applications and are ideal for wastewater recycle / reuse applications in a wide range of industries such as upstream oil & gas, petrochemicals, refinery, food & beverage, and textiles. CeraQ modules are also suitable for high temperature feed water applications. Other features of CeraQ modules include their durability and material stability in harsh environments. CeraQ ceramic filters can also tolerate cleaning the membrane with aggressive solvents if required.
QUA was the recipient of a Frost & Sullivan New Product Innovation Award for Industrial Water & Wastewater Treatment Technology, North America, for both its FEDI Fractional Electrodeionization and Q-SEP Hollow Fiber Ultrafiltration Modules.
