RealSense - Model 4 - Water Quality Monitoring Dataloggers
From Water Management - Data Loggers & Sensors
The sensors can be connected to a RealSense 1 or RealSense 4 data logger. The inlet(s) of the loggers can support a variety of quality sensors, almost all sensors that function on serial (TTL), 4-20 mA, 0-10 V, Vegabar Digital or Puls are applicable for the loggers. Due to the fact that the RealSense 4 is capable of accommodating multiple sensors at once it is possible to perform a variety of quality measurements at the same time.
Products Details
Governments, universities, nature and water administrators work towards the common goal of sustainable irrigation methods in the usage of water and ecology. These institutions work on the conservation, recovery and reinforcement of water systems. Important instruments regarding these goals are area focused conservation plans, policy supported studies and monitoring programs. The monitoring of water quality in regards of these programs is crucial. With the right sensors it is possible to obtain and set the right quality parameters with the use of I-Real data loggers. Examples of parameters that can be monitored and measured are:
- Temperature
- Soil moisture levels
- Conductivity
- PH levels
- Oxygen levels
- Turbidity
Power
As a rule of thumb quality sensors generally use more energy during their operations than regular sensors. It can also be that the user would like to have near-time measurement data, which creates a high communication interval. That is why both the RealSense 1 and the RealSense 4 dataloggers are powered by either a battery, a solar panel with a rechargeable battery or by connection through regular AC.
