Fiber Testing Laboratory
Our ASTM-compliant laboratory has been certified by the U.S. DoD (Department of Defense) for specific testing. The lab supports both fiber production certification as well as product development.
We routinely provide testing for tensile, permeability, mullen burst, twist, extraction, abrasion, fatigue, impact, thermal performance, and puncture.
Weaving
We manufacture textile substrates ranging from very open-bonded scrims to very dense plain-weave fabrics. Our weaving techniques include dobby weaves, maximum practical pick construction, plain weaves, plain leno mesh, leno loopers, double-beam composite systems, and loom coated scrims.
Our textile manufacturing staff has over 100 years of combined experience manufacturing all industrial fiber types. We provide a fast turnaround on prototype development, as well as volume production.
Fabric Finishing
Our fabric finishing includes scouring, heat setting, coating, and calendering. In order to best serve our aerospace and industrial customers, we control all aspects of fabric production, including the finishing process.
Our textile manufacturing capabilities have been the key to our continued service excellence for clients, including Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, NASA, Irvin Aerospace, Ford Motor Co., and L.L. Bean.
