Quadrex - Model SRI-8610-0035-1, SRI-8610-0035-2 - SRI Preconfigured GC Systems - Dissolved Gas Analyzer (DGA) GC
The DGA GC System is designed to make dissolved gas analysis easier ands less expensive than other methods. No sample preparation is necessary prior to injection into the DGA GC, avoiding contamination made possible by transferring the sample between various containers. The DGA GC may also be used online. For example, you could place the sample inlet tube directly into the ocean and analyze the dissolved gases in seawater.
- HID, FID and/or TCD detectors
- 10-port gas sampling valve and valve oven
- Gas extraction loop
- Peaksimple data system
- Built-in standards preparation module
In the SRI DGA GC, the sample is injected by peristaltic pump through a unique gas extraction loop. The gas extraction loop consists of permeation tubing encapsulated in a trap-heated glass tube. The permeation tubing is plumbed to the sample inlet, the 10-port gas sampling valve and the waste/sample outlet. When the sample is pumped through the gas extraction loop, the dissolved gases permeate through the membrane into the extraction chamber. Solenoid valves are included for purging the gas extraction loop with helium between runs.
By reconnecting a few tubing lines, the DGA GC can be configured to prepare dissolved gas standards. A Tedlar bag, or other container, filled with gas standard of a known concentration is connected to the standard pump. The standards preparation vessel is filled with sample liquid, such as sea water or waste water. The standard pump bubbles gas standard into the standards preparation vessel, equilibrating the liquid over time to the known concentration. Equilibration takes about one hour.

SRI PRECONFIGURED GCs
SRI full-featured Portable GCs are ideal for use in the field, as well, and they are equally comfortable on a lab bench. You can customize a GC system to meet your specific analytical needs with a wide range of injectors, detectors, and accessory options.
Due to the popularity of some configurations, a number of pre-configured GCs are offered satisfying a wide range of common analytical applications. In some cases, the preconfigured GCs are less expensive than the identical hardware assembled 'a la carte.' Each of the preconfigured GCs may be further customized (except the educational GC systems).
Check out these popular pre-configured systems below, or configure your own system to meet your needs.
Up to five injectors can be mounted on the 8610c GC Mainframe. Due to limited space, only a single injector can be mounted on the 310 GC Mainframe.
In order to add a second injector, of any type, additional cold on-column injector hardware must be added first. This hardware is then upgraded to the appropriate injector type.
Preconfigured gcs take advantage of batch manufacturing, offering a lot of gc power at very reasonable pricing.
