Subsurface Drainage Systems
Excessive soil moisture leads to poor health and productivity of plants, poor field trafficability, and the accumulation of salts in the root zone. Good soil drainage improves ag production by allowing for more timely field operations, reducing crop stress, reducing soil compaction, and reducing salt build-ups. An agricultural drainage system controls the water level on or in the soil to enhance crop production. Our drainage division was founded with the vision of installing the most effective, efficient, and most economical system. Careful consideration goes into installing a drainage system. Drain depth, grade, pipe size, and field layout are all extremely important design factors that will determine how a system performs.
