Unit Lift & Force Ejector
From Sewage Ejectors
The Tuke and Bell 'Unit Lift and Force' ejector, is one of the company's most successful products. Well over 3,000 have been supplied throughout the world. This system is ideal where a relatively small volume of crude sewage is required to be pumped. Conscious of the increasing necessity for economy in installations of this kind, Tuke and Bell have adopted the 'Lift and Force' principle to a compact and simple form in which the ejector body, air container, motor and compressor are assembled as a single unit. Discharge capacities range from 0.61 to 2.27 litres per second. Suction and delivery connections are 100m bore throughout, having the capability of passing unscreened sewage.
The Unit ejector is the ideal lifting plant for raising crude sewage to small disposal schemes. The rate of discharge can be adjusted within a very wide range, whilst leaving the sewage passage ways completely unrestricted.
As with our other ejectors, the 'Unit' is usually installed in duplicate. However, a single arrangement can be provided with duplicate compressor/ motor sets to give duty and standby facilities.
Air pipes on both the suction and delivery side of the compressors are inter-connected so that with this system the ejector may be operated by either compressor, leaving the standby set available for use in an emergency. A Tuke and Bell automatic changeover device is fitted as standard.
- A considerable saving in both material and labour
