Krilico - Model ST -Water Softening Sets for Industrial and Home Use
The Krilico ST series comprises water softening systems designed for high-demand water usage scenarios, primarily in industrial settings but also suitable for homes and offices. The setup features separate filter housings with ion exchange resin and a separate salt tank, designed to address water hardness by eliminating excess calcium and magnesium ions. This system helps in preventing scale formation in pipelines, boilers, and evaporators. Each unit is equipped with digital controls, allowing for the programming of regeneration cycles based on criteria such as softened water volume or time. For scenarios requiring uninterrupted water supply, multiple units can be installed in parallel. A unique aspect of the Krilico ST system is its regeneration capability, which maintains water flow quality during the process. Constructed with user convenience in mind, these softeners accommodate varying connection types and are rated for a maximum pressure of 10 bar.
Classic water softening sets ST consist of separate filter housings with ion exchange resin and salt tank, arranged separately from each other. They are used in cases of high water consumption, mainly in industry. During rinsing (regeneration) of individual sets, the water flow to the user is either closed off or supplied with the original quality. In case of the need for continuous water supply to the user, several such sets are installed in parallel or continuous action softeners of the Krilico SD series are used.
The system is used to reduce water hardness in homes, offices, industrial applications, as well as heating and power systems. The main purpose of water softening is to eliminate excess calcium and magnesium ions, which are responsible for water hardness. Water softening systems help prevent scale formation in pipelines, boilers, and evaporators.
The presented softeners have digital control. Regeneration initiation is freely programmed based on: softened water volume, time, or whichever comes first.
