Genap - Storage Reservoirs
From Civil Engineering & Infrastructure
The storage of waste water is often undertaken in reservoirs, silos or concrete tanks. The type of geomembrane that can be used depends on the type of contamination in the water. The storage method can also require a special type of geomembrane or mean that extra protection is necessary.

Concrete has to be protected using a protective geotextile so that the geomembrane does not become damaged by sharp parts in the concrete. Small stones of shells in the substrate of the reservoirs also have to be covered using a protective geotextile.
Our own Engineering Department develop -in collaboration with our clients - a geomembrane structure that is customised, appropriate for the possibilities with regard to the type of storage, the medium, the connections and the installation.
