Welcome
MEMPEX JSC is a pioneer in implementation of trenchless technologies for construction and repair of underground utility systems in the Republic of Belarus.
Starting from 1994, MEMPEX JSC successfully implements its activities as a construction company and, later, as a manufacturing company.
Areas of activities:
- manufacturing of construction equipment for trenchless works;
- construction and assembling works for trenchless laying and replacement of pipelines.
MEMPEX is engaged inmanufacturing of equipmentfor trenchless technologies in construction works since 2001. The specialists of the MEMPEX design bureau have designed and implemented more than 70 devices and accessories for trenchless technologies.
Our equipment delivery geography: Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Lithuania, Poland, Estonia.
MEMPEX carries out the construction and assembling works for trenchless construction of underground pipelines since 1996. In total, our company has built more than 20 km of enclosed pipeline crossings and replaced more than 14 km of pipelines.
The MEMPEX company policy with regard to the quality of construction and assembling works and equipment manufac-turing is based on the requirements specified in the European standards ISO-9001; successful implementation of these standards in the company is in progress now.
In Belarus, MEMPEX is the symbol of undoubted reliability, high professionalism, responsible attitude towards our work even in details. We don’t afraid of complicated tasks: we engage in their development with our excitement and interest, and find non-standard solutions.
MEMPEX specialists are regularly invited for consulting purposes, both in cases of construction emergencies and at various design stages.
The activities carried out by MEMPEX are highly appreciated by the Ministry of Architecture and Construction of the Republic of Belarus, the Union of Builders, the Minsk City Executive Committee; the company received many awards from these entities.
About Us
The MEMPEX company formation and development history dates back to the early 1990th, the difficult years of Perestroika. Already at the beginning of our way, we understood that, in market economy, only implementation and application of new technologies will provide opportunities to enter the construction market and to develop our activities further.
With our steady commitment to the creative search for the company development areas, we paid our attention to the problems affecting the cities during the construction of above-ground pipelines. In those times, with highly dense layout of urban buildings, Minsk was virtually choked when these works were in progress. We studied the experience of foreign countries and purchased several small machines made by Tracto-Technik GmbH (Germany).
In 1996 MEMPEX was the first in the Republic of Belarus to apply the trenchless technologies for replacement of worn sewerage pipes by new ones at a construction facility in Minsk. The dynamic destruction of old pipes and high-density polyethylene pipe pulling, with pipe string length up to 120 m, was used to replace the sewerage pipeline, Ø160 mm, by another pipeline, Ø225 mm.
Due to the trenchless technology, large amounts of money were saved by the city; also, surface buildings and road pavements were preserved.
With the positive experience gained in construction, and with realistic assessments of conditions existing in the construction industry (expected scopes of construction and repair of underground utility systems), we began to consider the need to make own equipment.
Already at the initial stage of implementation of our plans for the development of equipment to be manufactured by our company itself, we decided to reject the common approaches, such as copying, cloning or low price priority, the approaches that, at our opinion until now, result in dead end.
In this regard, the MEMPEX management adopted a concept specifying the company’s principal approach to the equipment development. It provides for the integrated approach to the equipment functionality. In other words, the equipment operated by customers must address not only the specific small-scale problems but the whole set of tasks in application of trenchless technology for construction or repair of utility systems.
In 2001, the MNB-50 equipment complex was designed and its manufacturing was launched. The feature of this new development of our company is its ability to carry out the range of works, both to replace old pipes and to lay new ones.
The MNB-50 equipment is protected by the Eurasian Patent.
In 2003, the smaller-sized equipment complex, UNB-30, was designed, capable to make underground passes, both from the surface or a small pit.
In 2005 – 2006, the MNB-125 equipment complex was designed and implemented for manufacturing. This complex can be used to replace pipelines made of various materials (such as ceramics, cast iron, steel etc.), with the existing passage expansion up to Ø600 mm, or to carry out pipe-jacking (make pipe subways) and lay pipes, up to 500 mm, within lengths up to 150 running meters.
In 2005, the unique formwork, OR-1.5, was designed and implemented for manufacturing. This collapsible movable formwork shall be used for trenchless works with the protected MNB-50 equipment at depth up to 5 m.
The OR-1.5 equipment is protected by the Eurasian Patent.
In 2011, the smaller-sized version of the equipment complex, UNB-20, was designed and implemented for manufacturing. It can be used to make underground passes, both from the surface or from a small pit.
