Screw Pumps
From Pumps
Schreiber’s Screw Pumps are manufactured in two types, Open Flight Screw Pump and Tube Mounted Screw Pump (available in variable angle and stationary angle). The Open Flight Screw Pump is a traditional Archimedes, with a design concept that dates back over 2,000 years. The Tube Mounted Screw Pump is a variation of the Archimedes screw pump inserted in a steel tube (pipe). The Tube Mounted Screw Pump is a self contained unit and does not require the detailed structure forming and grouting as an open flight screw pump.

The key to Schreiber’s screw pump success is...
The key to Schreiber’s screw pump success is our superior lower bearing design. Schreiber’s screw pump lower bearing design is based on an oil-lubricated, single-row spherical roller, combination radial-and-thrust bearing that provides a true self-aligning capability. The bearing is lubricated with oil supplied by an elevated oil reservoir and feed hose. Oil is not continuously consumed like grease, but changed periodically like your automobile. No need for grease pumps and grease recovery systems or their required maintenance. The pumps are supported at the upper shaft by a simple pillow block bearing to provide radial support.
