Altitude Valve Repairs & Maintenance
All these issues are directly related to the altitude valve at the base of the tank. An altitude valve is comprised of three basic parts: the main valve, the operating chamber and external control piping. These valves have replaceable seats in the main valve and operating chamber area that do wear over time. The external control piping contains smaller diameter controls such as solenoids, pressure reducing valves, strainers, speed control valves, etc. that also wear and can become clogged. Maintaining these components is crucial towards insuring the proper function of your elevated storage tank. TEMSCO, Inc. is fully capable of repairs, rebuilds, upfits and troubleshooting for all brands of control valves commonly used in our water distribution systems. It is recommended that these valves be inspected on an annual basis to insure proper tank level control.
