Asbestos Surveys and Management Services
Our asbestos consultancy team is made up of highly experienced asbestos surveyors and consultants. We are fully independent of any asbestos removal contractors and our advice is impartial.
Our surveyors and consultants have the following training and qualifications:
- British Occupational Hygiene Society P402 Building Surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos
- British Occupational Hygiene Society P406 Supervision and Management of the Safe Removal and Disposal of Asbestos
- British Occupational Hygiene Society Module S301 Asbestos and Other Fibres
- Supervisory Licence Holder
We undertake asbestos surveys fully in accordance with HSE Guidance Document HSG264 Asbestos: The Survey Guide, which sets out competence and quality assurance and types of survey. We have a thorough knowledge of the Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR) 2012 and can advise on the requirement for asbestos survey and the duty holders use of the survey report. MLM can help with the management process from preparation of asbestos management plans to assisting with the specification of removal works and project management.
We undertake both management surveys and refurbishment and demolition surveys as defined in HSG264 for our clients on a national and international basis. We also offer a due diligence level of survey and advice for property transactions.
We undertake management surveys for our clients across a broad range of buildings and facilities including university colleges, industrial facilities, social and private housing, and commercial buildings and are able to provide accurate, independent advice required once the survey is complete.
We understand the requirements of a full refurbishment and demolition survey and conduct these to enable simple fit outs in small office premises or prior to the demolition of large often derelict industrial facilities.
In association with our contaminated land specialists we also undertake investigations and assessments specifically dealing with asbestos contamination in soils and design cost effective remedial solutions and provide independent validation of the work.
