Dust Hazard control in the field of dust explosiveness: determination of the state of coal dust explosion hazard with respect to seams and panels as well as coal preparation plants, aimed at their classification, risk assessment of coal dust explosion hazard in mine workings, determination of explosiveness parameters of industrial dusts, risk assessment of dust explosions in industrial plants, investigations into the strength of dams protecting against dust explosions.

In the field of dusts harmful to health:

  • assessment of effectiveness of dust extraction installations in mines
  • calibration of dust samplers (through accredited measuring laboratories)
  • air dustiness measurements at workstations
  • working out standards and regulations concerning dust hazard in mining.
