Environmental Air Sampling for PHC F1 and F2

LCS Laboratory offers air sampling and laboratory analysis of Petroleum Hydrocarbons (PHC) in ambient air for the purpose of environmental site assessments. The samples are collected on diffusive samplers and require no sampling pumps. This method combines the cost effectiveness and sufficient sensitivity.
Overview
Laboratory analyses hydrocarbon fractions C6-C10 (to correspond with PHC F1) and >C10-C16 (to correspond with PHC F2) with sensitivity of 40 µg/m³ on 24 hour sample. As low as 6 µg/m³ can be detected on a week long sample. The results are often compared with the Health Based Indoor Air Criteria (HBIAC, Canada), or any other environmental or safety guideline.
