ULTIMA DTS can be used to monitor for both detection of hot spots and cryogenic process monitoring. Fibre optic cable can be installed to provide coverage for above ground or buried vessels.

Belt Conveyor Systems
Our distributed sensing technologies are readily combined in a single installation to allow for complete coverage of material transfer systems for up to tens of kilometres. Temperature and acoustic monitoring can alert operators to worn components and potential failures.
In the example above Silixa’s DTS systems is used for continuous temperature monitoring, detecting hot spots on the surface of a vessel. An alarm is triggered when critical temperature limits are exceeded.
