From Testing - Service
In addition to failure analysis and development consulting the third main pillar within the Service division is production consulting. Experienced SKZ specialists perform process analyses at the customert’s site in order to show optimization potential and accompany the implementation.
Service Overview
Our Mobile Service vehicle is equipped with important measuring instruments:
- Thermal imager
e.g. detecting of heat accumulations in devices in production and during mould proving
- Flow meter
e.g. for monitoring cooling circuits on the injection moulding tool, determining the energy consumption
- Moisture measuring device
for testing material pre-drying
- Reagents kit
for testing the water quality
Upon the process analysis, the SKZ application engineer implements a systematic process optimization on the basis of the design of experiments.
Apart from process analysis/optimization, the Service division also carries out analyses of complete production plants. The analysis is performed according to the material flow - from the granulate to the finished part. From this various possibilities for improvement become evident in order to increase the company’s efficiency. This analysis of complete production plants is also supported by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. The industrial consulting for SMEs is subsidized by the „programme for profitable improvement of material efficiency“ implemented by the German Agency for Material Efficiency (demea).
