Brown Environmental offers client support in the design, permitting, and implementation of full-scale dewatering systems in environmentally impacted areas. The dewatering and treatment of impacted surface water from within stormwater retention basins, excavations, wastewater clarifying lagoons, etc. is a common element of a comprehensive site remediation program. A typical system employs biological pretreatment followed by sump and/or well point recovery, and silt filtration through construction of a settlement basin. Alternative sediment removal techniques include the utilization of bag filters, sand filters, or flocculants.
