For any new project, we begin this process with our Scoping phase.
First, we'll want to understand the type of building being planned, how it will be used, the number of people who will be using the building, and the size layout location of the property.
We can then help identify the best solution or set of solutions that will meet the requirements of the owners. We may recommend passive systems, active systems or a combination of both. At this point we can make general recommendations about the system approach, storage requirements and estimated system cost. If the general approach is acceptable to the building owners, our engineers will develop the detailed system design and specifications.
Our team provides consulting and design services for water harvesting exclusive of any obligation for system fabrication. We will also provide a firm bid for the fabrication, delivery, installation and shakedown of the specified system; our bids generally include a substantial rebate for the consulting and engineering phase. If desired, the drawings and specifications facilitate the bidding process with competitive system suppliers.
Depending on the nature of the project, our Consulting - or 'Scoping' phase may be available without charge. It is our opportunity to get to know the client and to establish ourselves as the experts you will want to work with throughout the process from Scoping to Fabrication to the Commissioning of the system.
