Waste Administration & Disposal Services

While a put-on-the-market PV panel is classified and to be declared by Producers as a B2C WEEE equipment, PV panels are discarded through different collection channels according to the type of installation.

Quantities which can be considered of a household origin and below 20 PV panels are taken back through Dedicated Collection Facilities (DCF) free of charge.

Disposal Procedure

  • Find your nearest Dedicated Collection Facility (DCF) here
  • Schedule an appointment with your preferred DCF
  • Download and complete the Delivery Request Form
  • Deliver your PV panels to the DCF
  • Receive a signed copy of your Delivery Request Form

Quantities above 20 PV panels arising from professional installations and solar farms are billed at cost and paid individually by the Producer (upon agreement) or by the waste holder directly.

Disposal Procedure

  • Email the Quotation Request Form to operations@pvcycle.org to receive a quote for the disposal of your PV panels from professional installations and solar farms.
  • Provide important information such as:
    • number of PV panels

    • number, overall size and weight of each packaging unit

  • Collection will be scheduled after 100% pre-payment of the costs quoted.
