Crams - Display Screen Equipment Risk Assessment Tool
The display screen equipment assessment has been adapted from the HSE’s checklist and made available as an online tool. It was developed to comply with the Schedule to the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992, as amended by the Health and Safety (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2002. Our version can be used as a standalone resource, but if you’re using CRAMS to manage your health and safety at work obligations you can easily import completed DSE assessments into your full risk assessments.
Our free tool will guide you through the checklist process of the HSE’s DSE assessment.
Remember, the checklist only covers the workstation and work environment. You’ll need to provide for breaks or changes of activity, and you’ll also need to provide appropriate training to ensure that risks from other aspects of the work are avoided – our suite of 50+ e-learning courses is a great place to start!
